‘Southtown’ is a personal project that documents the area where I grew up; the environment, the people, and my connection to it all now as an adult, and as an outsider. I originally set out to make a body of work documenting the major developments over time in the area and how they are affecting the people of Southtown. However, as the project developed it became a love letter of reminiscence, and a reflection of my boyhood experience.
